Updates

  • Today, we’re celebrating two talented winemakers! 🎉 Clara Canals, Chief Winemaker at Ysios, and Tim Pelquest-Hunt, Chief Winemaker at Orlando, have been named in The Drinks Business Master Winemakers Top 100 for 2025, marking their second consecutive year on the prestigious list.🍷 Earning a spot in the Master Winemaker 100 is no small feat. To feature, winemakers must secure a Master medal in one of our competitions, where their wines are blind-tasted and evaluated by Masters of Wine and top experts. A huge congratulations to Clara and Tim, and all of the winemakers included on this year’s list, for this well-deserved recognition! 👏 #DrinksBusiness #WineExcellence #MasterWinemaker #Top100 #Winemaking

For the fourth year in a row, the St Hugo Restaurant has been awarded an Australian Good Food Guide Chef Hat! 🏆 This achievement reflects the team’s dedication to exceptional dining, showcasing the best local produce paired with their award-winning wines. Right now, guests can experience Executive Chef Simon Hicks’ Epicurean Cellar Menu, featuring back-vintage wines and locally sourced ingredients, including produce from the restaurant’s own kitchen garden. • 🍇🍾Vintage is here in Australia – and it’s shaping up to be one for the history books!    In our earliest start to vintage in 30 years, we officially kicked off the 2025 harvest on Wednesday with our first intake of Chardonnay grapes from the Murray Darling region. These early-picked Chardonnay grapes are the perfect base for creating fresh, vibrant sparkling wines. While our red varieties still need more time on the vine, we’re expecting more Chardonnay and other white varietals to follow in the coming days and weeks.   To all our teams working tirelessly across the vineyards and wineries, we wish you a safe, smooth and successful vintage season.
