  • Western Sydney music students are about to get closer access to world-class music education. 🎵 Next year, the University of Sydney will open a brand new, state-of-the-art teaching space in Parramatta for the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. For the first time in more than a century, Australia’s oldest music school will expand beyond its Macquarie Street campus in the Sydney CBD. The new campus is supported by a $2 million NSW Government investment. 📸 Artist impressions of the planned front entrance, the foyer auditorium for concerts, recording studios and practice studios for students.

  • It’s World Kindness Day, and we’re celebrating the people at NSW Health whose everyday compassion makes a lasting difference 💙 As part of the 2025 NSW Health Awards, the Small Acts of Kindness category shines a light on staff whose empathy and respect help make NSW Health a kinder, more connected place to work and receive care. Jason, a Health and Security Assistant at Casino and District Memorial Hospital, is known for his optimism and warmth. Whether checking in on colleagues, lending a hand or sharing a friendly smile, Jason helps create a workplace where people feel valued and supported. Lachlan, a NSW Ambulance paramedic, delivers lifesaving care with compassion and calm. His ability to provide reassurance and empathy, even in high pressure moments, shows how kindness and clinical excellence go hand in hand. Their stories remind us that kindness is more than a gesture, it’s an essential part of delivering world-class healthcare.
