North Melbourne has selected 178cm small forward Lachy Dovaston from the Eastern Ranges with pick No.16 in the 2025 Telstra AFL Draft. Dovaston was chosen with the club's first selection, which was acquired through a live trade with Carlton that saw the Kangaroos move up the draft order and into the first round. Dovaston was named in the Coates Talent League Team of the Year after his consistent season for the Eastern Ranges. He averaged 16 disposals and kicked 38 goals across his 16 games. His 24 disposals and two goals in the Grand Final were crucial as his side ran out winners against Sandringham. https://lnkd.in/gwQZ6den
