  • Test and measurement equipment today are powerful but fragmented, bulky, and constrained by physical limits. Ingenuity partnered with Pokit Innovations to rethink how measurement equipment should work in the real world. The result: Pokit Pro, a pocket-sized all-in-one multimeter, oscilloscope, spectrum analyser and data logger that wirelessly connects to your smartphone. ⚙️ Key design and performance highlights • Measures AC/DC voltage, current, resistance and temperature, with wide ranges (600 V CAT III, up to 10 A) • Integrated probe and cable storage within the device body • Rugged, ultrasonically welded unibody construction with tactile controls • Bluetooth connectivity to the companion app for multiple test modes and data logging • USB-C rechargeable battery with smart charge control and coulomb counting • Supports up to four devices synced in the app 🚀 From concept to market Ingenuity led the project through the entire commercialisation journey including industrial and electronics design, IP strategy, funding, manufacturing setup, logistics and eCommerce rollout. Pokit Pro went on to become the highest-funded DIY electronics project in Kickstarter history.

  • 🏆 Good Design Award Winner – Bulldog Binder When it comes to innovation, safety isn’t optional. It’s engineered. We’re proud to share that the Bulldog Binder, developed by Ingenuity Design Group for Universal Restraint Systems , has been recognised with a Good Design Australia Award for excellence in engineering and industrial design. With its lockable handle, anti-twist design, and enclosed shuttle guide, the Bulldog Loadbinder reimagines what durability and safety look like on-site. It doesn’t just make load restraint faster - it makes it smarter, saving operators up to 45 minutes a day in checks and adjustments. Designed in Australia. Built for strength. Engineered for reliability. Congratulations to the entire team and our partners at Universal Restraint Systems for this incredible recognition.

📢 NEWS: MTPConnect’s Targeted Translation Research Accelerator Drugs and Devices program is investing $12 million to back 14 homegrown life science companies developing new medical devices and drugs that aim to reduce the burden of cardiovascular disease and complications of diabetes (type 1 and type 2) for patients, carers, families and communities. The announcement was made during the #BIO International Convention in Boston, one of the world’s biggest biotech events bringing together sector leaders from Australia and around the world. MTPConnect CEO Stuart Dignam said this funding injection is critical to backing Australian innovations to tackle these significant chronic health problems and scale in our backyard rather than offshore. “MTPConnect’s investment, combined with the matching industry contributions, represents a near $30 million downpayment on the future of Australia’s brilliant life science innovators. “In addition to vital funding, these 14 companies will receive ongoing acceleration support through mentoring and access to specialist advice from MTPConnect, and guidance from our industry impact partners, CSL and #RocheDiagnosticsAustralia so they can tap into the best of global industry expertise. “We’re particularly pleased that 50 per cent of the funded SMEs are organisations led by women which is well above the representation of women in senior management (26%) or CEO roles (10%) within STEM industries in Australia.” Congratulations to the following companies based in New South Wales, South Australia, Tasmania, Victoria and Western Australia: ✨ TTRA Drugs Investment Outcomes: Anaxis Pharma, Argenica Therapeutics, Aspecthera, Atherid Therapeutics, Endo Axiom, Inosi Therapeutics Pty Ltd, Nanomedx, ProGenis Pharmaceuticals ✨ TTRA Devices Investment Outcomes: CathRx, IDE Group, Theia Medical Pty Ltd, Venstra Medical, Wavewise Analytics (Formerly Cyban), ZiP Diagnostics Find out more about the companies’ innovation projects in the full announcement here. https://lnkd.in/g8PwZ8sM The TTRA program is delivered on behalf of the Medical Research Future Fund.
