HEALTH, HAPPINESS, PROSPERITY FOR THE IBN COMMUNITY
About us
The Yinhawangka, Banyjima and Nyiyaparli people established IBN in 2001 as Trustee of the IBN Charitable Foundation; created under the Mining Area C Agreement (MACA) with BHP Billiton. The traditional lands of the IBN people are in the Pilbara region of Western Australia and today we have members located across all Western Australia, Australia and in some cases Internationally as well. IBN delivers community programs to more than 1840 IBN community members from offices located in Karratha, Perth, South Hedland and Tom Price. The member services teams coordinate over 2,000 suppliers and transact 75,000 IBN contact centre (phone, email, visit) enquires along with the IBN application and assessment centre processing around 15,000 applications pa. Our team of dedicated Field Officers close the gaps as an outreach service to members with barriers through isolation and other issues. These Community programs are designed to meet the IBN vision of “Building resilience and capacity for the present and strong foundations for the future”. They include; Household essentials, Education, Health, Cultural Support, Member advocacy & advice, Employment & Enterprise, Community & Environment. IBN also has other business subsidiaries, investments designed to invest in the future state of members for sustainable, empowered, healthy and happier lives. IBN has a strong financial history with significant property and business investment strategies to support a future fund to ensure the IBN Community can have access to a secure source of income long after the end of the Mining Area C Project.

IBN is very excited to launch our new case management program starting with the recruitment of 3 Intensive Support Officers based in Perth with opportunities to travel throughout the Pilbara. Our ISO team will have the unique opportunity to spearhead this new service providing general case management and program support including education, health and employment for IBN Members. The roles sits within the Member Services Team and is the escalation point for Members who need intensive support outside of the core services provided by the Member Services Officers. Our ISOs play a crucial role in providing assessment, planning and advocacy assistance to Members through a blend of virtual, in person, and administrative support to connect them with appropriate programs and service providers. Apply online through SEEK. https://lnkd.in/gDpct2iv
