  • We’re proud to see CarExpert featured in Business News Australia today as we announce our expansion into New Zealand through a new partnership with Trade Me.   This is a significant moment for us. Not only does it bring our independent reviews, videos and comparison tools to Kiwi drivers for the first time, it strengthens our ability to invest in AI, technology and the next generation of our new-car specialist model. It also creates a trans-Tasman automotive network that gives OEMs and agencies a clearer way to reach in-market buyers in both countries.   We’re incredibly excited to be working with the Trade Me team. As Anders Skoe noted, strengthening their new-car offering is a strategic priority, and partnering with a trusted, deeply engaged automotive brand is central to that. It was a chance to reflect on our progress, recognise outstanding contributions, and come together as one team. 2025 has been a year of momentum for CarExpert. We’ve grown our capabilities, strengthened our partnerships, and continued to build an experience that gives Australians more confidence in their next car. The energy across the team has never been stronger, and there’s a real sense of purpose as we head into the new year.   • Last week, our team went all in at the Japan Mobility Show, and it paid off. We completed three live TV crosses with 7NEWS (Sunrise, Midday and evening bulletins), filmed a YouTube showcase that’s now the most-watched video from the show worldwide with over 770,000 views, wrote over 30 highly engaged news pieces, and created viral Instagram content that lit up feeds everywhere. Our latest Road to Purchase study, conducted with Nielsen, shows Australians are making their car decisions faster than ever. The research phase, from first search to buying a car, now takes just three months on average, reflecting a more confident, digitally savvy buyer. As our CEO Damon Rielly put it, “The speed of the car-buying journey reflects the digital confidence Australians now have. Buyers are better informed and more decisive, but that also means brands need to show up earlier and more meaningfully to earn consideration.” ✦ Confidence is rising; but choice has never been more overwhelming With 68 brands and hundreds of models on the market, Australians have never had more choice. Yet, interestingly, the average shortlist has shrunk from three cars to just 2.2. That tells us something powerful. When people find information they trust, they make decisions faster. At CarExpert, we’ve built our brand on making car buying simpler. With endless choice and constant innovation, it’s easy to feel lost.
