We just wrapped up our first CAR Group Tour - and what a week it was! 🌏 Hosted by carsales in Melbourne, the tour brought together team members from our global marketplaces: Webmotors, Trader Interactive, Encar | 엔카 and Chileautos. From leadership sessions and product deep dives to visiting dealer customers and shadowing teams, the week was packed with learning, connection, and plenty of inspiration. It was a chance to share ideas, explore how we work, and strengthen the ties that make us a truly global team. After 18 incredible years with CAR Group, including more than nine as our Managing Director and CEO, Cameron McIntyre has announced his decision to step down, effective 15 August 2025. Cam has been instrumental in shaping CAR Group into the global business it is today. From leading our IPO as CFO to scaling the business more than fivefold as CEO, his vision, humility and people-first leadership have left an enduring legacy. We thank Cam for his extraordinary contribution and unwavering commitment to our people, customers and shareholders. We’re also proud to announce that William Elliott, our current CFO, has been appointed as our next CEO. Will brings deep financial expertise, strong commercial acumen and a clear strategic vision for the future. He has already made a significant impact across the Group, and we are confident he will lead CAR Group into its next phase of growth with energy and purpose. Please join us in thanking Cam for his outstanding leadership, and in congratulating Will on his new role.

As part of our global talent exchange program, Jocelyn Yao, Digital Yield Manager at Trader Interactive, recent spent four weeks with the carsales team in both Melbourne and Sydney. Now settled back in at home, Jocelyn shared her reflections on the program with us: "I'm incredibly grateful for the invaluable experience gained during my talent exchange trip at carsales.
