When financial teams come together, the impact goes far beyond numbers. In the past few weeks, Lifeblood Teams from Bank Australia, Commonwealth Bank, Deloitte NAB and more, rolled up their sleeves for our Financial Services Blood Drive. Together they donated over 8,000 times, showing that every donation contributes to a stronger, healthier community and the collective effort is a powerful reminder that giving back as a group helps even more lives. #lifebloodau

Alex underwent an emergency caesarean due to becoming very unwell with pre-eclampsia, a serious pregnancy complication that threatened her and her baby’s life. During recovery, her amazing midwife supported her to begin her breastfeeding journey and she soon ended up with more milk than little Grace needed. As a way to "pay it forward for the good will and generous care" they'd received as a family, Alex donated her excess milk to support other babies like Grace. Her message to anyone considering donating? "Just do it, make the call. My milk has gone to hospitals across the country!" Our Sports blood drive is showing the true power of community. So far, 199 teams have rallied together and made 1,633 donations, including Team Kash in support of five‑year‑old Kash, who is bravely fighting Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia. In May, a simple blood test changed everything for Kash and his family. A cheeky daredevil, loving little brother, and a passionate footy fan, Kash is undergoing treatment at John Hunter Children’s Hospital and every donation can help kids like Kash. The blood drive runs until the 30th of this month, so there’s still time to get involved.
