WhatsApp brings its popular end-to-end encrypted messaging to Apple Watch, making it easier than ever to keep in touch on the go.

Share your status
You can share more than words in your WhatsApp status; drop in a string of emoji, photos from your holiday or a voice memo. Your status disappears after 24 hours, and you can control who can see and reshare your status.

Create community
Tap the Communities tab to make a dedicated group for your neighbourhood, book club or class project. Because these live separately from your personal chats, they’re perfect for sending announcements.

Protect your privacy
Your WhatsApp chats are private by default, but you can turn on Advanced chat privacy in the settings of any message. Just tap the contact name at the top of a message and toggle this feature on to prevent people from exporting your messages or saving media from your chats to their device.
