After stomping the competition at the summer box office, Jurassic World Rebirth roars onto Peacock.

Quick take: In the seventh installment of the Jurassic Park film series, public interest in dinosaurs is all but extinct. All the theme parks and zoos with living, breathing dinos have shut down, and the once jaw-dropping spectacles (like a 40-ton sauropod strolling the streets of New York) are now met with indifference. However, the prehistoric creatures are still of value to the drug industry—specifically a sleazy pharmaceutical exec (Rupert Friend). He sends a team of mercenaries, led by Zora Bennett (Scarlett Johansson), to retrieve blood samples from three dinosaur species on a remote island in the Atlantic Ocean. Plenty of jump scares ensue!

Don’t miss: New genetically modified monsters. The Mutadon is a deadly hybrid of velociraptor and pteranodon, while the D-Rex (short for Distortus rex) is an even more lethal mutated evolution of a Tyrannosaurus rex.
