Shmoody helps you identify activities that put you in a good mood, then reminds you to do more of them.
What we love: How the app encourages us to think of simple activities that bring us joy – and work them into our day. Feeling stuck? The app’s suggested Action Plan can suggest ways to shake you out of a bad mood (like screaming into a pillow).

Quick tip: Text Helper offers pre-written messages that you can send to friends and family to let them know you’re feeling overwhelmed and need some me time.
Meet the creator: Shmoody was founded by Mike McSweeney and Nate Thomas, whose first-hand experiences with mental-health struggles sparked a desire to create practical, supportive tools. “Knowing we’re helping people makes all the long nights worth it,” says McSweeney.
