GAMES WE LOVE

Lost in Space

Shoot, loot and banter through an interstellar adventure.

Your ship’s exploded, you’re stranded in space and an intergalactic pirate is demanding... a karaoke machine? Fueled by mirth and mayhem, No Way Home will have you blasting foes and chatting up oddballs in dozens of procedurally generated star systems. Upgrade your zippy escape pod with new engines, shields and exotic weapons – you’ll need them for the twin-stick shooter battles ahead. Can a mysterious alien videogame cartridge be the key to reaching Earth?

The galaxy may be beautiful, but it’s not very friendly.

What we love: Assembling an awesome arsenal. From shield-shredding plasma cannons to a fiery Gatling gun that gets stronger as it overheats, no two weapons feel the same. Fire away!

Quick tip: Found a health kit but your ship’s hull is fully intact? Use your grappling cable to snag the box and tow it to your next battle for a little backup healing.

Meet the creator: No Way Home was originally planned as a space survival sim, but the team at Sydney-based SMG Studio was having way too much fun with the combat, so they pivoted to a twin-stick shooter.

This game is best played with a controller.
